Before covering small business, Colleen spent many years writing about white-collar crime as lead court reporter for Dow Jones Newswires. In 2005, she was the winner of the Newswomen's Club of New York's Front Page award for specialized writing. She has a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in English from St. Lawrence University.

In celebration of National Entrepreneurship Week, join the New Jersey Division on Women on Thursday, *February 23, 2012 as we launch the first of three innovative New Jersey Women’s Entrepreneurship Series (NJ WE Series) events at The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village in Princeton, New Jersey. We look forward to your participation in one or all of the 2012 NJ WE Series events. The NJ WE Series is a no charge event and is funded by a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). A continental breakfast and buffet lunch are included. Free on-site complimentary parking is available. The NJ WE Series will be held in recognition of the following national business awareness weeks during 2012: National Entrepreneurship Week [February 18-25] National Small Business Week [May 20-26] National Business Women’s Week [October 15-19] Pre-registration for each NJ WE Series event is required. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. Please be aware that on-site registration will not be available. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion at the close of NJ WE Series in December 2012 reflecting the events attended.
